For you Tuffy 1760 owners out there, is the 1760 tiller with a 75hp Optimax (w/powersteering) capable of handling Green Bay comfortably? Top end speed is less important to me. I'm primarily concerned with hole shot so I can get up on plane quickly in bad weather.

I am considering upgrading from a 17' aluminum tiller for next year with the intention of fishing Green Bay more often. I would rather not go up to the console boat both because I prefer the simplicity of tiller boats and budget restraints.
