If you got 5 years of good use, then I'd stick with what got you here.

I always got between 4 and 6 years out of my Remy wet cell deep cycles. Best charger I had was a Guest 3 bank. 10-10-5. Minn Kota makes a very good charger. Dual-Pro is what comes on Rangers, and I've never heard any negatives.

If your batteries freeze in the winter, they weren't fully charged when you put the boat up. The cold is actually better than putting them in a warm place, as it reduces the rate of self discharge.
