Stay a way from dual pro. I just had a couple bad experiences with dual pro. (Breaking just after the warranty expires. That happened on three of there products). My minnkota 345 is now 6 years old and still works perfectly. I have a guest that is 3 years old. My buddy like the new cabelas one ( couple years old now).
For batteries, because I have to let mine freeze ( or I just to lazy to pull them out) I go with sears diehard platinium. Super expensive but the best warranty in the business. I have had to test it twice. If it doesn't last 3 years you get e new one for another three year warranty.

My two cents
