Subject: Trolling motor battery and charger

My Cabelas Size 27 AGM battery is 5 yrs old and will not keep a charge past 8.7 volts I'm told I've got good yrs from it. Looking at replacing it with same or if something out there is better. Have a Minnkota 60lb thrust trolling motor. That is the only thing drawing power from the battery. The charger I use is from cabelas (pro sport single bank 6 amp). Last time I charged the battery I kept it on for 2 days and it seems the battery was not hot but warm to the touch. Is that an issue with the charger susc as overcharging. (it is suppose to be a 3 stage charger in the end just a maintenance mode. Maybe it is bad. Anyway looking for recommendations for a new battery and charger. Thanks
