Location: Elk River, Minnesota		Hiya,

Chances are there is a bolt that needs to be removed that is toward the under side of the engine. My guess is you take the bolts out and the lower unit only drops about an inch or so.

What you may end up having to do is take off the side cowlings of the engine (if possible) to access that bolt.

They can be kind of a pain, but once you know where it is and gain access to it, it'll come out easy and go back together easy.
