Good afternoon guys, new to the forum as a member, but lurker for a few years. I have a question for you, my dad's engine needs to have the impeller changed out. We've taken the bolts out of the lower unit, but can't quite figure out to disengage the gear shift shaft to drop the lower unit. We've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and thought i would ask here to see if anyone has any experience with these motors or things to try to drop this lower unit.
