not so much according to ohms law. lets say 12volts 1 ohm= 12amps. now just do the same 24volts 1ohm= 24amps. im not being a smartass either just dont want to see someone use a smaller conductor and have a possible fire or damage to equipment or themselves.
Have to apply the correct formula. That isn't it.
24V TM will draw less current than a 12V version at a given thrust.
The wiring in a Tuffy is adequate for either 12 or 24V TM's. Make sure you have the wiring protect by properly sized fuses or Circuit Breakers.
