Hi I am upgrading my trolling motor to a terrova 80 lb, replacing a 55 lb power drive. Going from a 12 volt to 24 volt system, is my current wiring going to be sufficient for the increased load. I have a 2002 tuffy esox magnum with factory installed wiring. I tried the search feature but couldn't find any info on this. Thanks Dave

I don't know what your Tuffy has, but you should have 6 gauge wire whether you use a 12, 24 or 36 volt trolling motor.
If your boat has smaller wire, replace it.

Get the 80 lb. you wont be sorry.
