Location: lake st clair michigan		i had the same thing happen when my fishing partner didnt lock it down all the way (partly my fault i should checked )what a scary feeling......they did warranty the shaft but i had to pay the labor 75.00 ish.... the motor was also 4 yrs old ...call your local authorized repair center ....then get yourself a ram mount like i did
