I did find out that the cavitation plate was 2 to 3 inches deeper in the water than the bottom center of the transom. I raised the motor about 3 inches and took off the sting Ray hydrofoil. I will try and get out one day this week and see if raising it helped at all........ thanks and I will get back to let you know the results. JB
