Location: Spencer, Wisconsin		I had the same issue with my minnkota that it would not latch. Well needless to say I cleaned the area where is latches, applied a light coat of grease bam, locks in perfectly. It appears the metal was wearing and loaded up with shavings and gunk. Just a little maintenance and I was back in action.
