Those cisco mounts are rock solid for sure. I have a RAM Mount 2.25" for my HDS 10 and havent had an issue with it. it is plenty strong and my unit never moves once it is tightened down. Granted, it isnt mounted on the bow, which will take more abuse. Dpeending on where you are mounting it may play a part in your decision. I have only seen the cisco mounts and have never owned one but the look great, and the guys that have them love them. I personally cant say a bad thing about the RAM mount.
