Is the expansion port you mentioned the same as the "box" you talked about needing if you wanted to share more than just waypoints and Sonar?

what can you share besides Sonar and Waypoints?
Over ethernet, you can also share sirium satelitte weather and radio as well as radar. If you set up the NMEA backbone you can share all sorts of extra information for your boat.
