Location: Madison, WI		my boat is currently at the installer installing my new HDS Gen 2 touch and I want to network it to my existing HDS 7. I just got a call from the installers saying that he thinks that an extra box is needed to do this. It was my impression that all you needed was an ethernet cord can anyone help me here? do I need extra equipment? if the answer is no like I think I may be taking my boat elsewhere.
