I could fit it, I just dont want all the extra weight of a third battery. My boat is just an old bench seat starcraft that I ripped apart and put a casting deck in. Has a 20 horse evinrude. By myself it hauls but weight slows it way down. I have an old minn kota 565b on it right now and its just not enough power on windy days. A 24 volt motor will probably be overkill but the price is right. I currently run my depthfinder off the same battery as the bow mount with no problems but didnt know if the increased voltage would cause problems.
