When the wind is blowing with a contour I'm trying to follow and drifting with the wind is too fast I find it easier to point the bow into the wind and set the trolling motor speed such the I get the right pace drifting backwards rather than having to power into the wind with the trolling motor set at a high speed. Also helps batteries last longer. My question is, is i link smart enough to regulate the speed if going with the wind or follow a contour/track/etc with the boat going backwards?
