I agree I have an early 60s 14'er with a 25 horse. I put the 80# terrova i-pilot on it several years ago and it is awesome. For rivers or lakes when the wind is going you will have plenty of power and the battery life is amazing. My boat must be a little lighter because on the lake the terrova will pull me along at 4.3 mph on 10. You may not always need that much power but it's nice to have it there when you do.
