Location: 31 | I was super nervous about the placement of my LSS 1 and 2D transducer on my 08 621, so I know what you are going threw. I thought about the jack plate install too, but went with the LSS 1 on the opposite side away from the kicker and it's worked out well. I have another 2D threw hull transducer because the 2D in the picture doesn't work all the time on plane… it's always nice to have a backup though. I agree with the 20 mile an hour assessment with the structure scan (I'm in the same 5 mph range), and also have a little interference on the port side from the kicker when it's running… I think that's unavoidable. The underwater light was not worth the time and effort BTW.
