Do you take your unit off every time? I don't like trailering with the units still attached to the boat
Sounds like a nice set-up. I have a 10 mounted in the bow with the large long RAM mount and really like it, they're a bit pricey at $100 but well worth it in my opinion.
I don’t remove the electronics while trailering, and actually use the RAM mount to pivot the unit facedown (with the plastic screen protector on it) over the hoop of my net and then lock it down flat on the front deck.
