The configuration of the rod tubes in the 2011 1890 to date is much different than the 2007 model.

cool. in what ways did the configuration change?
the question was about rod lengths fitting. did the change make it any longer?
the '07 pretty much ran from edge of the deck to the bow of the boat, which is why the top-center tubes had the longest space.

i've tested a 10' surf rod in a Skeeter 1825's side locker without bumping anything. the one limitation to the design is that it relies on rod tubes, so you can only put a couple rods in there. great innovation for muskie guys, though!
