One of my fishing buds told to store the pedal whenever it is not in use... He seems to think they are susceptible to problems if you leave them exposed to the elements for prolonged periods of time. I leave mine in dry storage after each use...no issues yet.
I agree with your fishing bud. Even when trailering your boat stuff that thing in a compartment. All sorts of dust and other junk could fly around and find it's way into those things. Better to be proactive and prevent the need to be reactive when you are stuck with a bum pedal. |
