I have one on my x190, I used the transom bracket to mount, and would not do that again. I would recommend using the mount that goes between the outboard and transom unless you have really good interior access to the back of the transom. So far it has worked out good for me, I fish a river system that is less then 10' deep most of the time so I use it a good bit. I also really like using it at the ramp when im fishing solo. I have the quick release nuts so I can take it off if im fishing a deeper water lake, or before I back it into the garage(learned that lesson the hard way). Overall I would recommend it if you fish water less then 10' most of the time but if your usually deeper then that it is pretty much useless.
