Make you fish thru a spot to fast?? If the wind is blowing 15 mph, and your trying to point your
Boat directly in the wind and fish the
Shore next to you, you either have to have your foot constantly on the trolling motor, or set to auto pilot
which can be set to keep you barely moving forward into the wind.
And how can it be bad for figure 8's?? In a strong wind, without the ipilot, you'd be drifting at uncontrolled speeds, with the ipilot you can have it set to have you virtually sitting still
