Hiya

When I did a restoration boat for my brother and sister in law, I used aluminum pop rivets and silicone. The pop rivet alone was probably a tight enough fit, but the silicone in the hole beforehand was added security...

Noticed you went back and edited your post after mine to mention you have glass... obviously the method I used would not be applicable.
