| It is a problem on my Ranger, which is a 185 VS and my buddies Reatta. His Reatta is more the fishing style Reatta and shaped similar to mine, so it stands to reason that it is a concern on Ranger bass style boats. I'm unsure about other boats.
The other thing I've noticed is that my Ranger cover does not cover the boat with this trolling motor. It sticks out too much and it is just enough to make the cover not fit the boat.
Again, the removeable plate cures all ills.... And I wouldn't, repeat, wouldn't trade this trolling motor for a Maxxum or any other cable drive system. | |
