Location: Kodiak, AK		I missed the part about "used." Yeah a grand is way too much for a used trolling motor that's been sitting there that long and doesn't even iPilot on it. For the effort of installing a 36v system on your boat and getting a "new" 80 lb for the same price...for a boat and fishing conditions that really only need 80 lbs...to me that's an easy decision.
