Saric catches very few fish on the 8. If you like to catch em boat side wear neutral colors. Will it drastically improve your catches? Probably not, but it will help. Some saltwater guys (usually trollers targeting Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado ect...) put schooling bait fish stickers on the bottom of their boats!?! Hasn't really caught on because these large boats generally stay in the water and require bottom paint at regular intervals. I've always liked white hulls to cut down on the "looming shadow effect." Again, these are very minor things but it may add a fish or two to your totals over the entire season.

Edit: To answer your question...It's not that crazy...try it and let us know.
