I will pull the plug first thing after trailering the boat at the end of the day. If possible, I park on an incline while putting away gear, strapping boat down, etc and all water that may be in the hull will drain at that point. I leave the plug out on the way home and at all times when not on the water. Last thing I do when I get home is jack the front of my rig way up to run anything that may be left to the back of the boat and out the plug hole. To get the last little bit (that takes forever to drain), I will lay an old towel in there for a few minutes and that will soak it all up. Run the front end back down, and park her, she'll be fine! Also, don't forget to drain your outboard!!!
