Somethign to consider on SI in the front: SI requires a minimum speed to function properly, I beleive my manual says 2MPH, (bird unit) but I could be remembering incorrectly. How often is your trolling motor running at 2MPH+ while casting?
IMO, SI in the front is not a big value add, especially for the cost.
