If you buy a rig with a motor, generally you can get the deal cheaper than buying hull and motor seperate. You may not get the motor you want but you got a motor.

You buy seperate you can have the motor of your choice, but it will generally cost more and you will invest some personal time in to setting it up.

I like haveing things my way so buying a hull and motor seperate is not an issue for me. Fr some it may not be their cup of tea. It is all in what you want.
