It's true in the automotive world. I would presume marine applications aren't much different. There are companies out there manufacturing ethanol resistant fuel line if you want to go that route. Instead of the standard 30R7 stamp you see on standard (automotive) 3/8 braided line, the new # is ISO 8649. Marine stuff might be different???
