| Welcome to the club!! Such a pain in the butt!! I've installed the Minnkota Quick Release bracket, the really good one (MKA-32). It's super strong and works well. Unfortunately everytime I now launch my 620 I have to release bracket, set Terrova on casting deck, launch boat and put back on when done. It only take a few extra seconds but well worth not tearing motor off bow. I looked in the less expensive brackets that slide back but was told by several it's not as strong and has had problems supporting the Terrova. I wish Ranger could find a way to correct this but this is a very common problem with these motors. I don't have a problem retrieving boat but launching it is just one more thing on my list before fishing. | |
