Not sure I agree with the last post about speed but the 4 strokes are very smooth and quiet at slow speeds. No more smoke. In many cases the 9.9 and 15 hp are in the same family and have the same displacement. Very little performance diffrence. more or bigger cylinders change performance. What is the HP rating on the boat? If you are selling The 9.9, let me know.
