Hey guys, I am looking into getting a ranger 619 or 620 this off season and I am just wondering what kind of tow vehicles you guys are using.

Right now I have a Silverado with the smaller 4.8L V8, would that be enough?

You will be fine, buit it's not going to have a lot of reserve power. Driving the speed limit will help on the MPG.

Make sure you have the tow package. If not, make sure you install a tranny cooler, and use TOW/HAUL mode.
