With my cover, I don't have issues getting it over the rails, but I do have to take the holders off to get it on, or it would rip in a heartbeat. The only reason I would go with tracks if I did it again, is to be able to remove the holders quicker. Not that it's bad taking the DEs off the rails, but I'm sure it would be much faster to take them out of a track. Rails definitely work, especially for adjusting the rod angle when trolling quickly.
