I put bunks under my Alumacraft and during my research found to NOT use green treat wood. Supposedly it eats/corrodes aluminum. I used Red cedar 2x6's and they've been under it for 5 years and still goung strong. My carpet wore though in one spot and I need to recover the bunks, but the wood itself is in good shape.

Good choice. Plus make sure you use stainless staples. If not, they'll be gone in no time.
