Location: Dane Country | Wow, I need to do a lot more work to mine. That boat is in showroom condition. Steve I love seeing anything old being restored to their former glory. That console looks mint. In no way would I think anything like stealing someone's thunder. I love it. It inspires me to do even more to mine.
I need to get a windshield, and the front spot light is cool. I still have those plastic seat mounts on my decks. I am going to change those out because I can't find post. What is the black box in the front deck (dead center) off the floor? Looks cool. I will also be placing my 3 batteries under the front deck for my Minn Kota 101 since no one wanted it. I might be able to pull a good hole shot with my trolling motor.
IF I HIT FULL THROTTLE, from a dead start the bow will lift straight in the air without moving forward. If I throttle slowly, get moving and then hit it, awesome ride.
All I can say is that Pike Rampage is one of the nicest boats I've ever seen. I wish more guys would redo the old stuff. This was the first boat I have ever really worked on. All my other boats was just fish them and service.
This being my very first Tuffy, I don't know why but I just felt that I had to redo this boat. My old Ranger is still around and looks the same as when I sold it. If the new Tuffy boats are so much better than this .... I am a Tuffy man for life.
Don't need a jacket, but will be in contact for a hooded sweatshirt.
