Location: Elk River, Minnesota		Hiya,

If you are repainting any bare aluminum, the first layer must be a self-etching primer so things will adhere to the aluminum. Once you have the self etching on, you can use a build-up primer to sand smooth, then finish off with whatever paint you choose.
