The cockpit on the X190 is not 'small' by any means. The Esox Deep V deck comes out in 2 minutes, opening the back of the boat up. Trolling out of an X190 is a pleasure, not a problem.

It's recommended that one add a 9.9 to the starboard side of the boat, the X190 was designed to take a kicker and usually is offered rigged with a Merc 9.9 pro Kicker standard.
