| The Tuffy 1890 is best comparted to Skeeter's WX 1850 or WX 1900, as they're both deep-v hulls. The 1825 is a lower profile v, similar to the X-190, but the 1825 is a smaller boat and possibly has a little deeper hull.
Note that Skeeter is coming out with a MX 2025 later this year, rated for 300 ponies. If/when they come out with a MX 1900, it should be comparable to the X-190.
I haven't ridden in either boat, but here are my thoughts on your question: the 1825 has a slightly deeper hull than the X-190. Neither boat is a deep-v, but the 1825 is closer to a deep-v and the x-190 is closer to a bass boat. The X-190 is a faster boat, in addition to being bigger.
Find owners of each boat and at least ask them:
1) how the boat handles big/rough water
2) about hole shot and top speed performace
3) how the boat "tracks" when you're trolling or following a countour while casting | |
