I personally like the Springfield "Plug-In" style. The Lund taper locks get wedged in sometimes and can be a bear to get out.


I like those allot too. My last boat had them and pedestals are an easy in/out.
I would add that style but my plan when re-decking is to rout out the deck so it sits flush, then carpet over everything but the bushing. (and the other reasons mentioned)
