My dad has a 89 Bass Tracker with 3/4" pin style seat bases. They're kind of worn out and any post you put in there is kind of sloppy, also not a lot of good choices for different posts. Is there a way to upgrade the base to a different style where we're not going to have to to major surgery? A little bit of work is expected just don't want it to be too severe.

Just wondering what you guys would do.
