Location: Madison, WI		i just got a new boat with a merc 4-stroke. my previous boat had an e-tec. The merc is a super quiet nice running motor, HOWEVER the mpg is not much better and the hole shot is terrible! My e-tec had way more balls and so far the positives for the 4-stroke merc have not made me like it better. I wish i had my e-tec back.
