Location: SE Wisconsin | I bought the 2 ball quick release ram mount yesterday for my new Lawrance HDS-8. I get that the RAM mounts are to fit a multitude of electronics for different placements (GPS on a car dashboard, Laptop on a middle console, etc...), but am I mistaken that I need to drill pilot holes through the mount bracket of the Lawrance to align with the plate on the RAM mount? As of now, I can only align two of the holes on the plate with the bracket of the locater..
I just don't want to start drilling holes without asking the experts first if there is a RAM mount that fits the Lawrance exactly. Just looking for some advise. Thanks | |
