Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | bdog - I checked all the wye cable options/accessories on the HB website for an HB 997SI. There is no way a single wye cable can combine two different transducers, i.e., other than two SI transducers- the SI wye cable is for if you have interference from your motor or something else - then you need two SI transducers, one SI transducer is mounted to the right and the other is to the left. The wye cable feeds each left & right transducer signal to the 997SI -> left+right= complete picture.
A SI transducer and thru-hull transducer requires a switch. I'm outa here!
I think the problem is how the question is posed. I thought of Shep & JLong when I saw this!
"Two engineering students were walking across campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?"
The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want."
The second engineer nodded approvingly, "Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn't have fit."
Have fun!
