| just bought a boat it has a lowrance lcx 111c hd. The marina where the boat was for sale messed with the wiring, and I bought the boat off the original owner who had it on consignment. We cannot get the lowrance to turn on. The owner and I today tried to figure it out for a hour at bass pro shops, to no avail. The service department was closed and the salesman dont know JACK. It is supposed to be wired to the master switch on the console, any ideas how to get this thing fired up? We tried new connecters and all. Any way to trouble shoot it myself? The owner gave me 200 bucks to take it somewhere to get it fixed at a marina, but was thinking i could try and do it myself and keep the extra cash. Should I just wire it to the battery directly?
I would like to do it the right way, but with a last resort I will do that, if i cant get it into a marina.
