Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion		I don't know,.....Mine did the same thing and I replaced the foot pedal, and it worked fine.
A new foot pedal may be cheaper and less time ?........If it doesn't work at least you have a new pedal.
I'm on my 3rd in 7 years of use.
