| Seems odd. The way I'm understanding it from what's been said....... the US2 cable is the only connection/cable?? This would mean that the unit stole its power from the TM?
Opening post I thought said Powerdrive. I was referring to my Terrova unit. Wondering if that makes any difference??
I had a new 55PD on my last boat and that one hooked up to my old junker (2002-ish) Eagle sonar just fine via US2. Same system: US2 connector and 1 wire containing 2 power wires that went to battery, which split at the locator. Same power cable shape that plugged into the back of the unit.....unsure if the pin configuration was the same or not. I know you could swap transducers between that old unit and this Elite 5.
Either way, US2 is US2. It should work. All the lower end Lowrance/Eagle stuff I've seen is the same setup, power wires separate from transducer wire or connector to sonar.
