Location: Cedarburg, Wisconsin | The only other thing I can think of other than the US itself, is the adaptor cord from the US to the bird. I assume the Lowrance adaptor is a different one? Grasping at straws, but there is a remote possibility the adaptor might be causing it. Hardly worth getting a new one to try though. If you could borrow one that's about all I can think of, unless maybe you could try wrapping the adaptor section in aluminum foil to block some of the radiated noise and seeing if that makes a difference. Cheap and just might give you a clue if the bird displays better that way. Most of the time I've seen a shielded cable grounded on one end make a positive difference in radiated noise situations. Just don't short out the cable adaptor if it has bare metal that the foil can touch. Give it a wrap in tape first. Good luck. Been where you are and it drives you nuts trying to get rid of the noise. Probably boils down to either the t-motor or the bird, and that is hard to swap out units one at a time till you find the culprit unless you can find a buddy with the same stuff who'll let you borrow them. Sorry I couldn't help more. |
