| This is one reason I don't network my units. I picked up a Yamaha engine interface cord for cheap a while back and after it got here and $100 later in extra crap, I'm still not able to plug it into my HDS. You'd like to think you could just plug it into the unit, but that's not even close to being the case. You'd also think the network cords and connectors would all be the same...that's not the case either. I knew networking was a pain before I bought the interface cord, so I knew the can of worms I was opening up. As of now it's still all sitting in a box in the garage. Maybe someday I'll get tired of looking at it and install it. | |
